茶道体験の流れ

１、抹茶の歴史と作り方を体験しましょう

最初に、日本のお茶の歴史についてわかりやすくご紹介します。続いて、伝統的な石臼を使って抹茶を挽く様子をご覧いただけます。


2、伝統の点前を見学し、和菓子を味わう
このあと、茶道の師範が、五百年以上の歴史をもつ伝統の点前を披露します。点てたての抹茶を、和菓子の「練り切り」とともにお楽しみください。

3、自分で抹茶を点ててみる
仕上げに、茶筅・茶杓・茶碗などの伝統的な道具を使って、ご自身の一服を点てていただきます。お好みの「茶碗（ちゃわん）」も、並んだ美しい器の中からお選びください。

Yes, advance reservation is required. Same-day participation may be possible if there are available seats, but we recommend booking early.

The session usually lasts about 45 to 60 minutes. For large groups, the duration may vary slightly.

Yes, we provide full guidance in English. We also have prepared materials in Chinese, French, and other languages; however, the host instructor will conduct the session in English.

Yes. Children aged 5 and above can join the shared plan. For children 4 years old or younger, we kindly ask you to book a private plan.

Unfortunately, there are no kimono rental shops nearby, and we do not provide kimono rental ourselves. You can join the ceremony in your own clothes.

Yes, you are welcome to take photos and videos during the experience. Please be considerate of other guests’ privacy.

We ask for advance payment online by credit card. For bookings made through travel agencies, please follow their payment procedures.

Cancellations and changes are free of charge up to 24 hours before the experience. After that, cancellation fees will apply.

Not at all. Beginners are very welcome, and we will guide you step by step to enjoy the experience.

The building has a restaurant called YAOYA on the 1st floor, and behind it you will find the back entrance of Hotel SK PLAZA, which can serve as a landmark.
